The vessel has been outfitted to provide you with unique, comfortable lodging which is combined with our delicious home style meals and custom guided Alaskan wilderness adventures. Our packages offer you a taste of Alaskan living at a reasonable price. Catering to small groups, Alaskans, their guests and independent travelers. The length of your package and your itinerary can be customized to fit your desires. Packages include lodging, meals, transport to the vessel from Whittier and back as well as the guided/unguided daily activities. Depending on your interests as well as the seasons, itineraries can include any of the following activities: glacier viewing, wildlife viewing, whale watching, kayaking, kayak fishing, naturalist tours and hiking, exploring historical sites, salmon fishing, beach combing, fly-fishing, birding, berry picking, shrimping, skiing and snow shoeing.


We also offer affordable base camp lodging for private boaters in Prince William Sound. Head out on your own boat for a day of hard fishing or hunting and return to the R/V Cathy G in the evening to clean and cook up your catch of the day before a hot shower and comfortable night's rest. Each of four cabins has a double bunk and a single bunk. We will be located in a number of prime locations throughout the seasons, strategically chosen to be near the action, whether it is skiing or black bear hunting in the spring, fishing, shrimping or kayaking in the summer, fall bear hunting, fishing and deer hunting or winter deer and duck hunting. Lodging on the boat includes the use of the facilities such as the fully equipped galley and BBQ, as well as the fish cleaning table on the back deck. Rafts and fishing kayaks are available to rent. Facilities and gear rental on the R/V Cathy G are for the use of lodging guests only.
