Kathy Peters started making pottery in her home studio in Girdwood in 1983. She continues to make functional porcelain pieces for table and home. Bowls, plates, mugs, teapots, casseroles, goblets and other works are on display in her gallery located at 293 Hottentot Mine Rd. Visitors can view and purchase pottery from the gallery.
Kathy is an accomplished potter who has participated in many local shows and has won awards in the biannual statewide juried show, Earth, Fire, and Fibre, and in shows sponsored by the Kenai Clay Arts Guild. She is an active member of Girdwood Center for Visual Arts, and Anchorage Clay Arts Guild.
